Lolita OOTD + Transformation Video - Pirate Princess

Thursday, July 2, 2015

This is kind of a reboot of the outfit that I wore during La Vie en Rose, I really liked it and thought I could make some small changes to it. Unfortunately I don't have any proper pictures of my outfit there, however I have pictures now!

The idea of my look was Lolita Pirate Princess, a badass chick that kidnaps innocent maidens and plunders.. well, everything - while looking pretty awesome. Is it strange that I made a whole story for one outfit?

I made a short transformation video to go with the pictures, it's sped up so much my hands are a blur most of the time. Don't worry, my hands aren't really that blurry. My real eyebrows are terrible though, but that's a topic for another time.

I'm still trying to figure out my set-up for videos in my work room. I got 2 daylight umbrellas, but somehow my room is still a black hole that absorbs light. I might just get some kind of lighter colored curtains on a rail to hang from the ceiling so that I got at least the dark blob that is my closet in the background covered. The struggle of liking dark furniture is real... oh and the struggle of German houses with tiny windows is real too.

By the way, I entered the Kawaii.i contest with this look, so if you like it and would like to support me you can vote for me with these links:

Enough with the chit-chat, on to the pics!

My goal for the make-up was something more androgynous, despite having a girly
touch to it. I don't have any make-up for contouring, so I decided to keep it relatively
simple and focus a bit more on the brows. I went with a peach tone blush, instead
of the normal pink tone I take. The tears are to reflect the tears in the Grimoire
hair clip.

Lolita OOTD - Innocent World x Flowers + Video [non lolita]!

Friday, May 15, 2015

Still no wallpaper unfortunately, but I have another outfit I wore yesterday!
This dress has been hanging in my closet for a while now, I didn't wear it before because it's a wrinklemonster. It's bad. I steamed it twice and it's still wrinkly. But I might just have to get over it, because it does have a lovely silhouette! I also thought that it was a bit boring, so I made a flower brooch and clipped 2 matching flowers to the "drape" of the skirt.

Oh yeah! No heels! The reason why I wore heelless shoes is not because they're super comfy (which they really are!), but because they have flowers on them! I should've taken a close up, because it matched perfectly :)

Lolita OOTD - Library Dress

Sunday, March 22, 2015

Another absence, I'm really not writing here as often as I'd like, but this time I have a good reason!
I moved to a new apartment again and it took a bit to get settled. Half is still in boxes and it all looks
like a mess, but it feels good enough to take time for pictures again!

I hope to have the wallpaper that I ordered up on this wall soon and maybe I can get or make some decorations to pretty it up a little!

So today I filmed another youtube video and decided to dress it up just a little bit, so this is more of a toned down lolita outfit. Of course I just use this as an excuse because I have trouble trying to coordinate this absolutely beautiful dress.

Oh in a little more than a week I'm off to the US again! I'm going to be at Anime Matsuri with Lockshop Wigs and there will be a lot of beautiful wigs for sale there! Please pop by and say hi! We're at booth #730 in the exhibitors hall and there should be a LOT of brand spanking new wigs
that are at the fashion show! So excited, I can't wait :D

Lolita OOTD - Holiday Red

Saturday, December 13, 2014

Oh - instead of winter blues I'm suffering from the holiday red. And no, it's not period related.
Actually, just kidding, I don't really care about holidays at all, but this outfit did kind of turn out festive for being an outfit of mine!

There are a lot of dresses in my closet that I've never worn, partially because I feel like the rest of my closet doesn't suit it, and today I made an outfit with one of those dresses. It feels like it could be a bit more balanced, but I don't have a lot of colors to play with so I did my best :) I kind of want a cute beret to go with this dress!

Okay maybe I've got a bit the winter blues...

And I definitely need more lolita shoes! But it's been quite difficult to find suitable shoes, that are not only pretty, but also nice quality, comfortable and affordable. I had custom orders from Antainna a couple times before, but they always kind of disappoint. Even if you get them to make the shoes in leather, the designs feel kind of off. But we'll see what the future brings, maybe a new shoe brand? ;)

The wig is a sample wig, soon to appear on my wig shop Lockshop Wigs, it's from the Pure line, which is more natural and very suitable for daily wear. When I got it, I first wasn't sure about the style, but there is a very limited amount of cute shorter wigs and most of this length are simple bobs. The waves in this kind of give it a less polished and more playful feel, making it 100% less boring too! I can't wait to stock it :3

Outfit Rundown:
JSK: Angelic Pretty (isn't it gorgeous?! I want it in red too!)
Blouse: HMHM
Cardigan: Chess Story
Jewllery: Tokimeki Gabriel & Offbrand
Wig: Lockshop Wigs (arriving soon!)

Lolita OOTD - Golden Rose

Tuesday, October 14, 2014

I know, it's been forever, but I decided to revive my blog again because as usual, I have the biggest plans ever! I wanted a place where I can keep proper track of outfits etcetera, and quite frankly, Tumblr is terrible for that!

I've been meaning to wear lolita at least once a week, a bit because I've collected so much beautiful dresses that need to be worn, but also because I feel good when wearing lolita and taking pretty pictures! However it's easier said than done, it always takes forever for me to get ready and mostly it feels like it's too much effort to get up an do it. Doing my best to get out of this rut though!
Because I didn't wear lolita last Sunday, I wore it today - an ivory and gold outfit - I wish I had golden shoes, but hey maybe in the future!

I tried my best to take a clear picture of the make-up, no color effects.
Most of the detailing hardly shows up, I added gold dots and highlighted various parts
of my face with a super shimmery gold.

I know halos and other religious inspired headwear is the trend in lolita fashion right now,
and because I feel it's kind of overused at the moment I was a bit hesistant to wear the
headband, but I didn't have a lot of gold toned headwear and I wanted to add something to balance it out! I actually bought it quite a while ago, it's made by Maroonsparrow, and I never had the chance to wear it with anything. I decided to cover it up with the flowers a bit, so that there are only hints of it, and that it doesn't overtake the outfit. I went for a partial up-do with my wig - it's Mermaid Dust -

Blouse: Juliette et Justine

Well, that was my outfit for now! I feel like I want to do lighter coords more often, and I want to add gold to ALL the things! But first I'm going to take it a bit easier when it comes to purchases :)
